Billy Crawford to father Jack: “I’m sorry, Dad. I wasn’t there to say goodbye, give you a last hug, or tell you how much I love you. You’ll always be in my heart.”
Billy Crawford took to Instagram last Sunday, September 22, to lament the passing of his father Jack.
The singer-host started his message by apologizing to his father for not being there to bid farewell one last time.
“I’m sorry, Dad. I wasn’t there to say goodbye, give you a last hug, or tell you how much I love you,” he said. “You’ll always be in my heart.”
Moreover, Billy expressed his gratitude to Jack and how much he’ll miss him.
“Thank you for being the greatest dad I could ever have. May you finally rest and forever be happy in the arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ. I’ll truly miss you, my main man! Love, your son,” he said.
Billy’s celebrity colleagues, like Piolo Pascual, Jessy Mendiola, Dingdong Dantes and Kim Molina, all expressed their sincerest condolences in the comments section.
As of writing, Jack’s cause of death is still unknown.
Billy is currently one of the coaches of GMA Network’s The Voice Kids Philippines with Julie Anne San Jose and Pablo & Stell of SB19.
