ICYMI, the singer-actress and her love team partner Anthony Jennings reportedly got entangled in an alleged cheating controversy recently. This happened after Anthony’s ex-girlfriend Jamela Villanueva released screenshots of alleged conversations between the two on the night of December 3. Since then, the Internet has been buzzing, sharing their own takes on the situation. As of now, Maris has also already shared her side of the story, while Anthony is also in the process of releasing his statement.

Dazzle Me’s Statement About Maris Racal’s Endorsement

Meanwhile, before her exclusive sit-down with ABS-CBN, one of Maris’ endorsement contracts fell through. Cosmetics brand Dazzle Me ended their deal with Maris through a statement they released on social media. They prefaced the announcement by sharing what the brand stands for, which is “inclusivity, authenticity and making the right choices—even when they’re tough or uncomfortable.” Emphasizing that these are the values that are in the heart of the brand.

The brand also wrote, “After thoughtful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end our partnership with Maris Racal. Working with her has been an amazing journey—her energy, humor, and authenticity resonated deeply with our vision of a bold and inspiring Gen Z icon. However, we determined that moving in a different direction is necessary to remain consistent with the principles that guide our brand.”

Dazzle Me also added that they advocate for “kindness and empathy within the online space.” Adding, “Dazzle Me remains dedicated in encouraging everyone to make choices rooted in chosen values and principles.”

The announcement made by Dazzle Me has since garnered a mixed reaction from the Internet. There were others who commended the brand for taking action and for “choosing decency and integrity.” Meanwhile, there were others who believed it was unecessary, commenting that the quality of a product is what’s more important to a consumer, while also questioning why it was only Maris was losing brand deals, not Anthony.

Maris started her journey with Dazzle Me in September when she was announced as the face of the brand. At the time, Maris took to Instagram how excited she was for the partnership. She also previously posted a campaign video she did with the brand where she showcased her acting chops in a pretend audition for the “next dazzling icon.” In her caption, she wrote, “So happy to be the first face of Dazzle Me.”
