Chloe San Jose Fires Back Vs. Post Saying She Ruined Yulo Family

The saga continues, everybody. This time, Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose isn’t holding back. “If you’re gonna get mad at me for standing up for myself, stay mad.” That’s how Chloe began her explosive post on September 6, 2024.

In case you haven’t been chronically online since Paris 2024 (good on you!), Chloe is the girlfriend of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo. After his historic wins, he and his family got the Internet’s attention for their not-so-cordial relationship. The Yulo family suddenly became the center of attention—so much so that his mother, Angelica Yulo, even held a press conference addressing the issues about their family.

The 22-year-old Chloe mentioned most of the things “blamed” on her which include, “breaking a generational curse,” “disrespecting someone after telling the truth,” and “standing up for her partner against toxicity.”

Chloe didn’t mention any names in her post—but she also didn’t mince her words. “I’m not here to please, I know what I did and didn’t. Feel free to keep believing whatever you see and read online, it doesn’t matter—I know my truth and so does the people around me, most specially mahal Carlos. The universe has my back,” Chloe wrote.

With all that said, Chloe vowed that it would be the last time that she will be talking about the issue. “It’s honestly getting boring and overdramatic at this point, as it’s been a long-gone issue,” she stated.

Chloe also posted a series of screenshots of Carlos’ family’s alleged criticism against her. The posts were allegedly referring to Chloe. One of the posts from Angelica read, “Takot naman ako sa mga post mo PW*T LANG NAMAN KAYA MONG PAKITA.”

But what triggered Chloe’s September 6 post seemed to be a new personality in the scene. On September 5, a certain Gerald Fajardo posted a lengthy exposé of how Chloe was allegedly the reason why Carlo broke away from his family. “BUO ang pamilya nyan. Sinira mo…” Gerald wrote. According to his Facebook profile, Gerald is working as a coach for personality development, including skills like modeling, acting, and dancing.

Gerald directly mentioned Chloe in his post, revealing that she purposely ruined the Yulo family by manipulating Carlos. He noted one instance when Carlos decided to come home to his family, Chloe allegedly threatened Carlos so that he would not go back.

“Tapos yung oras na uuwi na si CALOY, papuntasa PAMILYA nya. Anong ginawa mo? Sinabi mo diba MAGPAPAKAMATAY ka?” a part of the post read.

Tl;dr: Gerald, who is a close friend of the Yulo family, described Chloe as a partner who doesn’t encourage Carlos to forgive and be with his family. Instead, Gerald thinks Chloe aims to keep Carlos all to herself. “Yang sinasabi mong ikaw ang kasama sa journey ni caloy sa OLYMPICS , OO… Ikaw nga, ikaw nga talaga. Kase hinusayan mong alisin ang bawat tao sa paligid nya..sinigurado mong mawawala sila. […] Goal, mo parin talagang, punuin nang galit, ang puso ni caloy para masigurado mong ikaw lang at wala nang iba?”

in the end, Gerald warns Chloe to be careful as the odds won’t always be in their favor. Gerald also posted screenshots showing Chloe’s somewhat disrespectful remarks against Angelica in a Facebook group chat.

In one of the screenshots, Chloe was aggressively tagging Angelica saying, “Sino po ngayon yung nagmumukhang joke? Hanggang post lang po pala talaga kayo, kala ko naman po may tapang na ibubuga.”

Carlos Yulo defends Chloe San Jose

Allegedly, Carlos’ family didn’t really like Chloe since the beginning of the relationship, but Carlos fought for her. But aside from that, there was the issue of the hidden incentives. In an interview uploaded on August 4, 2024, Angelica disclosed that Carlos’ cash incentives worth P70,000 were given to her after the 2021 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships by the organization. She noted that the incentives were sent to her as a parent since Carlos’ handlers thought Chloe was a “red flag” in their relationship.

The amount mentioned was allegedly “hidden” from Carlos. This seemed to be the start of their rift, leading to Carlos putting boundaries between himself and his mother. In a video personally posted by Carlos online, he finally spoke about his sentiments towards his mother.

He strongly said, “Ang sa’kin lang naman, gusto ko malaman kung saan napunta ang mga incentives na ‘yun. ‘Yung principle po kasi dito, wala po sa liit o laki ng incentives na ginalaw niya, kundi po sa pagtago at paggalaw niya ng wala ko pong consent.”

Carlos also recalled the time when his bank account was still handled by his mother. He narrated that sometimes Chloe would often support him financially as his incentives were with his mother. “Lahat po ng bank account ko [noon] nasa mama ko po. May mga instances po talaga na si Chloe po ‘yung sumasalo sa akin that time…”

In his seven-minute TikTok video, Carlos didn’t miss the chance to defend his girlfriend. He admitted that there was already some bad blood between him and his mother because he fought for his relationship with Chloe, which his mother never approved of. “Hinusgahan niya po agad si Chloe sa pananamit at sa pag-akto po niya,” Carlos proclaimed.

Carlos also touched on the issue that Chloe allegedly lives off of his money, saying that Chloe has always been working hard for herself. He stated, “Si Chloe po may sarili po siyang income, lahat po ng nakikita niyong gamit o ‘yung pag-travel niya sa kung saan-saan po, galing po ‘yun sa pinagpaguran niya po.”
