Kim Chiu says breakup with Xian Lim a mutual decision

Kim Chiu confirms breakup with Xian Lim. The two had been in a relationship for 12 years. 

Kinumpirma na ni Kim Chiu na hiwalay na sila ni Xian Lim.

Ito ay matapos ang ilang linggong usap-usapang break na ang showbiz couple.

Binasag na ni Kim ang kanyang katahimikan sa pamamagitan ng isang Instagram post ngayong Sabado, December 23, 2023.

“End of a love story,” bungad ng It’s Showtime host. “It took me a while to say this until today.”

Hindi nagdetalye si Kim kung ano ang naging ugat ng kanilang paghihiwalay, pero sinabi niyang “sometimes love is not enough.”

Mutual decision daw ang paghihiwalay nila ni Xian.

Pagpapatuloy ni Kim, “We owe our supporters the truth, but we also respect each other’s time of healing. In a relationship, love is always a significant factor, but sometimes love is not enough.

“We shared more than a decade of love, each other’s support system, and many beautiful memories.

“It was our mutual decision to transition our relationship into what we hope to be a lifelong friendship.”

Pinasalamatan din ni Kim ang kanyang ex-boyfriend dahil sa matagal nilang pagsasama.

“Lastly, to Xi, Thank you for the almost 12 years of beautiful memories together one can never imagine. You will always have a place in my heart. Thank you for showing me what love is.”

Humingi rin ng “privacy” si Kim kasunod ng pagkumpirma ng kanilang paghihiwalay.

“We thank all our followers for their love and support, but now we ask you to appreciate our honesty and give us the privacy we need as we begin new chapters of our lives.

“To all our supporters, maraming salamat for all the love and understanding.
