GMA is sure that Zephanie Dimaranan will continue to shine
Kapuso singer Zephanie Dimaranan received support from GMA Artist Center amid the intriguing statement that Kapamilya star Vice Ganda had during the Idol Philippines grand finals.
Zephanie is the winner of the said singing competition’s first season on the Kapamilya network. However, last April, she signed a contract with GMA. She said in an interview back then that she is “balik Kapuso.”

It is because when she was younger, she auditioned for a show on GMA. She thought that it was a singing contest but she, later on, discovered that it was for a teleserye.
As the second season of Idol Philippines concluded, a new winner was hailed. During the grand finals, Vice Ganda performed, and when he was asked by host Robi Domingo to give his message to the new winner, the comedian-host said, “Mag-stay ka muna dito sa network na ito.”
With this, fans of Zephanie Dimaranan reacted to the viral statement made by the Unkabogable Star. They defended the young singer and some even claimed that she chose to sign a contract with GMA because ABS-CBN was no longer giving projects to her.

On the other hand, there were still those who believed that Vice was correct when he said that as they think that Zephanie’s network transfer was a display of being ungrateful to the network where she got her big break.
Following Vice’s intriguing statement, the official Instagram Page of the GMA Artist Center shared a post featuring the young singer. The Kapuso management believes that Zehanie will continue to sparkle.
“#Zephanie is sparkling! [star emojis] And there’s no doubt in our minds that she will shine even brighter in the future,” the post stated. Many fans of the singer showed support for her in the comment section of the post.
A netizen even linked this post that GMA Artist Center shared to the statement of Vice Ganda. “Reply ng GMA sa parinig ni Vice,” the netizen commented, adding that allegedly it was ABS-CBN who did not renew its contract with Zephanie Dimaranan.
