Yael Yuzon just proposed to Karylle, his wife of 10 years, on national television!
Yael made a surprise appearance on Monday’s episode of “It’s Showtime” to congratulate Karylle, who successfully finished the run of the musical play “Rama Hari” where she played the role of Sita.
“It’s Showtime” host Vhong Navarro then asked Yael about their marriage: “‘Di ba 10 years na kayo?”
The Spongecola frontman then answered: “Magte-ten years na kaming kasal. And alam mo, ‘yung thing with being kasal na kayo ng 10 years parang mas na-aanalyze mo ‘yung things through the ups and downs. Mostly ups pero sa downs mo mas ma-aanalyze ‘yung things at kung sigurado ka back then, mas madaling maging sigurado now kasi may 10 years na tayo together.”
“Pero may hindi ako nagawa before, so I’m gonna do it now,” Yael added as he kneeled in front of Karylle and showed his wife a yellow box with a ring.
Yael kneeled then asked the million-dollar question: “Will you marry me again?” to which Karylle laughingly answered: “yes!”
The couple sealed the deal with a kiss and sang a duet to Spongecola’s song “Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay.”
Karylle and Yael married in March 2014 after dating for over three years.
Karylle is one of the hosts of “It’s Showtime,” which airs on GMA Network’s GTV.
