Xian Lim once again spoke about Kim Chiu

Kapuso actor Xian Lim said that he and his ex-girlfriend Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu are still friends.

In recent interviews, Xian has been very vocal about his breakup with Kim. Previously, he addressed the steak issue and the rumors that he called Kim to tell her that she can now confirm his new relationship with film producer Iris Lee.

He also stressed that the idea of separating did not come from him and that the decision was mutual. Amid Xian’s revelations, Kim broke her silence and said that there was no need to talk about the breakup and he hoped that the other party would stop talking about this also.

Just recently, Xian Lim was asked about the breakup once again during his guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. Tito Boy asked, “Are you and Kim friends?”

Xian chuckled, and said, “Of course, of course,” adding that he was surprised by the question. The actor reiterated that they are friends. When the veteran talk show host asked what kind of friendship they have, Xian explained that since the time they separated, they haven’t talked to each other yet.

However, he stressed that “when that night happened,” apparently the breakup, they had a peaceful conversation. Although there was “iyakan,” Xian said that there was assurance that with the 12 years of being together, there was that respect.

The actor also stressed that it was a consensual decision but it was not him who initiated the breakup. He said that he understands the fans’ negative reactions but this was also painful for them.
