The host has made a statement highly publicized and one of the stories he introduced was the story of someone he helped who is now a famous host of a noontime show.

“Noong Wowowee days, nilapit niya sa akin yung isang talent niya na tulungan. Sa backstage, may concert sa Laffline, palabasin ko siya. Ngayon, sikat na sikat na siya ngayon sa isang noontime show. Totoo yun, kahit tanungin niyo pa siya kung ilang beses siya pumunta ng backstage ng Wowowin para magpromote. Hawak niya rin dati ‘yun, nawala na rin sa kanya ‘yun,” Willie revealed.

Ogie Diaz has reacted to this. To recall, Diaz was also one of his “recipients” in his intriguing “panunumbat” made on television. He was the manager who accordingly criticizes him on his vlog and the same person who seemingly forgot his help for him in the form of cash worth Php 50k.

Diaz clarified that the money was given to a foundation and regarding his snide remarks about this host, the comedian-manager also made a clap back. According to Diaz, they were there to support him as his show would be nothing without the supporters.

And it was not as if he started as a successful man in his career. He also went through the same way.

“Ikaw ba nagka-Wowoween ka kaagad? Di rin naman. Nag-guest ka rin kung saan-saan. So, hindi mo pwedeng isumbat yung nagawa mo. Ayaw mo ba nung nakatulong ka?” Diaz quipped.
