Here’s what Julia Montes said about her friendship with Kathryn Bernardo

Kapamilya actress Julia Montes said that she and fellow ABS-CBN star Kathryn Bernardo are “ang first and perfect love team” because of this.

Julia and Kathryn worked together in the remake of the 90s hit series Mara Clara in 2010. Through that soap opera, the friendship between them bloomed and until now, remained good friends.

Julia was 14 years old when she did that major project with Kathryn. Two years after that, she was given another major project and it was the teleserye Walang Hanggan with her rumored boyfriend Coco Martin.

In a recent interview by G3 San Diego for Mega Entertainment, Julia said that she took a more quiet and private journey than Kathryn. Nevertheless, she is happy with what her friend has achieved over the years.

“With Kath, sobrang proud ako with her showbiz life, her business life, alam mo ‘yun? Lahat, okay, sobrang ganda nu’ng ano niya. ‘Yun lang. ‘Yun lang ‘yung lagi kong sinasabi. Hindi ko rin kasi talaga na-imagine. So, I’m just so blessed na marami rin akong na-e-explore on my side. Sa age bracket namin, parang ako ‘yung isa sa mga first na nakapag-explore,” Julia Montes shared.

She also said that there was no incident between them that one would say that should me or that should supposed to be mine.

“And that’s our magic. Eh, lagi nga namin sinasabi, kami ang first and perfect love team,” she added. Julia Montes also stressed that she found a sister through Kathryn Bernardo without expecting that they will really bond. She also said that she will always be there for her friend through ups and downs in life.
