MANILA – Comedian Vice Ganda recently addressed a tweet that highlighted the highest tax payers among celebrities for 2022, notably omitting his name. The original tweet expressed “shock” at his exclusion from the list, which featured popular Kapamilya stars such as Coco Martin, Kathryn Bernardo, and Daniel Padilla.
In response, Vice Ganda clarified his standing, stating that he is recognized by the Bureau of Internal Revenue as one of the top tax payers in his district. He tweeted, “I am one of the highest tax payers from RDO 38. I was invited to the ceremony on February 27 but unfortunately could not attend.”
He took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of fulfilling civic duties, expressing pride in his contributions. Other celebrities noted among the top tax payers include Judy Ann Santos, Liza Soberano, Vic Sotto, Willie Revillame, Michael V., Sarah Geronimo, Anne Curtis, and Maja Salvador.
