Ion Perez tells Vice Ganda: ‘Seryoso ang nararamdaman ko sa ‘yo’

MANILA — Amid rumors surrounding their relationship, Vice Ganda and Ion Perez appear only more heartened to share affectionate moments with each other in public, notably in front of millions through the country’s most watched noontime program.
In the April 11 episode of “It’s Showtime,” the pair appeared to hint at their real-life ties as Perez gave a serious response to Vice Ganda’s question, about whether his sweet words are all part of a joke.
Perez was illustrating the lengths he’d go to prevent Vice Ganda from getting hurt — an interaction that’s par for the course when it comes to the onscreen love triangle among them and dancer Jackie Gonzaga.
“Okay lang ako masaktan, maging masaya ka lang,” Perez told Vice Ganda. “Doon ko ipaparamdam sa taong mahal ko na sobrang importante siya sa akin.”
When Vice Ganda asked whether Perez was only leading him on, pointing out his smile, the breakout star answered: “Never ako nakipagbiruan sa ‘yo… Sa ngiti lang ‘yun, pero ‘yung nararamdaman ko sa ‘yo, seryoso.”
The comedian then diverted the banter to their usual playful exchange, which resulted in Gonzaga and Perez pretending to cry to win the affection of Vice Ganda.
