Vice Ganda Warning About Fake Quotes Attributed To Him

Kapamilya host Vice Ganda warns about the fake quotes circulating online.

In the latest It’s Showtime episode, host Vice Ganda warned people about the fake news and fake posts being spread online attributed to him.

Rampant online are the quotes and posts edited by a lot of social media pages which they claim are said by a celebrity. Most of these are fake and what’s worse is that many still people believe in those without exerting little effort to verify it.

Those fake quotes from celebrities receive many comments and reactions which are sad as it showed that there are a lot of people who still easily believe what they see online. One of the celebrities often used is Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda.

He would see some quotes online attributed to him and it makes him bothered is that he never said those and did not even posted them.

In the recent episode of noontime show It’s Showtime, he expressed a warning saying that not everything people see online from him is true. Some are fake merely to gain comments and reactions from people. Even him is also always shocked whenever he sees himself online with the quote card when in fact, he never said such things.

“…kailan ko ‘to sinabi, kailan ko ito na tweet. Tatawag pa ako sa social media team ko, ‘na tweet ko ba to? check niyo nga’ bakit ganito? tas sasabihin nila ‘fake yan teh’ tapos makikita mo ang daming comments,” the comedian shared.

This fake quote cards included his fake thoughts about certain issues which are trending online. He never did but some pages edited it and used his name to attract the people. There were those about him supposedly talking about the issue of Dennis Trillo and among others.

He is clearly a victim of several fake quote cards credited to him.
