Vice Ganda was asked about Vhong Navarro

Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda has this answer for people who are asking about the return of Vhong Navarro to It’s Showtime.

Vhong had to leave the Kapamilya noontime show unannounced for a period of time after he voluntarily surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) following the warrant of arrest that was released against him in line with the rape case filed by Deniece Cornejo.

Since the warrant of arrest has no recommended bail, he was detained, and eventually, he was transferred to Taguig City Jail until he was favored to have his temporary freedom after he was allowed to post bail.

Now, fans of the actor-host have been anticipating his return to It’s Showtime. However, until now, Vhong Navarro hasn’t returned yet to his daily hosting stint. During the episode of the noontime show last Saturday, Vice Ganda spoke about fans’ anticipation for Vhong’s return, based on the article in Inquirer.

“Gusto niyo bang malaman kung kailan babalik si Vhong? Pwes, gusto rin naming malaman,” he said to the audience. The Unkabogable Star stressed that it is best to ask the manager of Vhong regarding this matter. However, Vice also said that people should let their co-host rest and spend time with his family.

“‘Pag may presscon ako, laging ang tanong ay, ‘Kailan ba babalik si Vhong?’ So sa lahat po ng nagtatanong sa akin, isang sagutan na lang po,” Vice Ganda shared.

“Una, hindi po ako ang manager ni Vhong so hindi ako ang megde-decide kung kailang siya babalik. Pangalawa, pagpahingahin muna natin siya. Kailangan niyang magpahinga,” he said.

Then, Vice has this assurance to the fans of Vhong Navarro: “Babalik siya… He promised to come back.”
