ABS-CBN superstar Vice Ganda recalls the time when he almost gave up on his show business dream. Here’s what he shared.

This has been a thought that lingered in Vice Ganda’s mind which also puzzled the people around him when he finally voiced it out. How would you really know when to continue and when to surrender? Should you stop or not? When will you stop? Will there ever be a chance to stop?

Many of us can surely relate to him as we all have goals in life. We chase something and at one point, we’ve been at a place where we are met with a crossroad – to stop or to continue. We are the drivers of our life but life is not like a highway that has traffic lights to indicate when to go and when to stop.

This kind of decision depends on us and for Vice, there was a point in his life when he almost took the red light sign.

In the course of his life from being a standup comedian to being the superstar that he is now with multiple blockbuster films, he realized that no one can know as life is always full of surprises. It offers endless possibilities.

“Isusuko ko ba to? Kaya lang pag sinuko mo pano kung ibigay bukas eh sinuko mo ngayon?” he expressed in the video and he then recalled the time when he almost quit on chasing his showbiz dreams.

It was during that time when comedians such as Ethel Booba and Chocoleit had already penetrated showbiz and the time when he failed at an audition. He was thinking that perhaps, he was meant to only do stand-up comedy.

However, gradually, one guesting at a time, he built something noticed by this one person who picked him and that was when opportunities rushed to him. Despite feeling bad about why he couldn’t do what others did, those small little things he allowed before became his stepping stones to reaching milestones.

He learned that apart from hard work, it also takes patience, a lot of it as his time to shine eventually came.

Meanwhile, Vice revealed his 2025 projects previously which will include a major concert.
