Is this reaction of Vice Ganda to the issue of “And The Breadwinner Is…” co-actors Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings?

A much talked about topic on various social media platforms is the issue that tangled Maris Racal in the break-up of Anthony Jennings and Jam Villanueva. As much as we all, know, the actor and his non-showbiz girlfriend have been together for seven years and this year, they have ended their relationship.

In a previous article, Anthony confirmed the split and after this confirmation, the non-showbiz ex-girlfriend aired her side of the story. Her side of the story included screenshots of intriguing and controversial messages that Maris and Anthony have exchanged which seems to show their “betrayal”.

The exposed messages posted by Jennings’ ex-girlfriend included private topics and many netizens were shocked. Villanueva made the revelation through a series of Instagram Stories as she intended to share her “truth” for her peace and to protect her family and herself from being “attacked by others”.

“I respected your craft. I believed in you both. But betrayal like this cuts deep,” a part of her statement reflected.

Recently, the co-actor of MaThon, ABS-CBN superstar Vice Ganda in the “And The Breadwinner Is” movie, seemed to have reacted. In the the new episode of It’s Showtime, the comedian expressed her gratitude for the support of her co-hosts for her upcoming film and went on to remind people to spend time on the holiday season and not on gossip.

“Magplano na kayo para sa Pasko, hindi yung basa kayo nang basa ng mga ganap sa Twitter,” Vice quipped then added, “Magplano kayo sa Pasko, hindi yung hindi kayo tumatayo, laging abang na abang, mga puyat na puyat. Kilos-kilos tayo o.”

Kim Chiu asked, “Ano ba meron sa Twitter?” and Vice responded in a way that steered the remarks away from what seemed like to be connected with the current buzz online involving MaThon.

“And The Breadwinner Is” is an official entry for the MMFF with Vice in the lead. Maris and Anthony are also part of the movie.
