Speculation surfaced about the recent vacation of Vice Ganda and Ion Perez
Is it true that celebrity couple Vice Ganda and Ion Perez were suspended after the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned the producer of It’s Showtime?
The issue started when complaints were addressed to MTRCB against the cake scene that Vice and Ion had that allegedly suggested sensuality during the Isip Bata segment. This garnered mixed reactions from the online community.
Amid the criticism that MTRCB got for allegedly being “unfair,” Chair Lala Sotto stressed that they are standing by their decision to call out the Kapamilya noontime show. She even said in a previous interview that it is not the first time that they received a complaint against It’s Showtime.

The MTRCB chair said that the Kapamilya noontime show has several violations. Amid the issue, Vice Ganda and Ion Perez took a vacation. In his post, the Unkabogable Star said that it was just a short trip.
Fans of the celebrity couple showed support and happiness for them as they have the opportunity to take a rest and spend time together. However, there are negative reactions surfaced regarding the “sudden” vacation that the couple had, based on the article in Newsko.

The veteran showbiz writer read some comments from netizens who were asking if the celebrity couple was suspended. Cristy also noticed one of the posts that Vice shared in which he and Ion were holding each other’s hands with the message “Hold my hand. Everything will be okay.”
Then, the showbiz writer has this comment, “Meron pinagdaraanan. Ang kuwestyon po ng bayan: nasuspinde kaya sila o nagbakasyon lang? Ano sa palagay mo Rommel?”
