Hollywood correspondent Oliver Carnay shared the producer’s response to what Garth Garcia said. Oliver wrote an article about this. Producer Amor Yu of Amor Yu Productions clarified that local artists were not instructed to return backstage to celebrate with the main artists.

The local artists were supposed to go to the lobby for the Meet & Greet. Amor Yu also shared that while Vice Ganda was in the dressing room they sang “Happy Birthday” for his assistant.

“Nagkakasiyahan daw ang grupo ni Vice na inaawitan pa ng ‘Happy Birthday’ ang kanyang assistant at pagkatapos ay sinabihan lamang nito ng malumanay ang mga nasa hallway na nakatanghod sa labas ng kwarto ni Vice ng ‘Excuse me po, magbibihis lang po si Vice para sa Meet & Greet!’” the concert producer said.

Amor also stressed that there was no reason for the assistant to shout and show an inappropriate attitude. The producer shared that one of the front-act artists, John Cueto, witnessed what Vice’s assistant really said.

Amor also clarified that Garth Garcia was not the “guest artist” because it was Darren Espanto who was Vice Ganda’s “special guest artist.” The producer debunked Garth’s statement that there was no dressing room for front-act artists. She explained, “it is on the second property, adjacent to the main hotel kung saan malapit sa theatre ng Yaamava.”

After Garth’s statement was published and Amor read it, she was surprised because she and the Fil-Am singer were talking after the concert. Garth reportedly said that it was “sayang” that they were not able to use the room allotted for them.
