Here’s a timeline of the issue of Vice Ganda and Billy Crawford.

Celebrities Vice Ganda and Billy Crawford have gone through a falling-out phase and here’s a timeline of the issue.

During the Magpasikat 2023 performance of Vice Ganda on It’s Showtime, the special guests of their production were former hosts Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia along with their son Amari. It was a big surprise to many but it also put an end to the circulating rumors regarding their issue.

They reunited in Showtime and it was also at that time when they admitted that there was indeed a falling out that happened. However, what matters most now is they were able to patch things up.

When and how did their issue start

The rumors started as early as 2017 when Billy and Coleen were not present at the wedding of Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff which was held in New Zealand. At that time, Coleen explained that at the time of the wedding, both of them had work to do in Manila.

In 2018, Billy’s relationship with his fellow Showtime hosts Anne and Karylle drew confusion when they were absent from his wedding. Billy and Coleen’s wedding was held in Balesin but these two female hosts were nowhere to be seen. Vice, however, was present. It turned out Anne had a marathon in London while Karylle had an event to attend.

Following Billy’s wedding, his absence from Showtime was noticed. In October 2018, Billy revealed that he filed an indefinite leave of absence from the show to focus on his family first. As for Coleen, she left the program in 2016 as she chose to prioritize her acting career over her hosting career.

In 2020, Billy was reported to be transferring to TV5. He hosted the game show The Masked Singer and eventually became one of the main hosts of the noontime show, Lunch Out Loud, a direct competition of Showtime. During this time, ABS-CBN lost its franchise and the pandemic happened. He expressed back then that “loyalty will not put food on the table”.

His transfer was supported by Vice. The comedian even wished him well and said, ” “Pero hindi porke’t lilipat siya ng bahay, hindi mo na siya kapatid, hindi mo na siya kapamilya, hindi mo na siya mahal. Kaya kahit lumipat ka ng bahay, kahit saang bahay man tayo magpunta, magkakapamilya… Family kita… At mahal na mahal kita.”
In 2021, however, eagle-eyed netizens noticed Vice and Billy unfollowed each other on Instagram. There were already talks about them not communicating anymore since he left Showtime but what drove a wedge between Billy and Vice was when Bobet Vidanes left Showtime as the director suddenly. Vidkanes was tapped to serve as a creative producer for Lunch Out Loud.

In 2022, Billy revealed that he has not communicated with Showtime colleagues. Despite being their show pit against each other in terms of time slot, he brushed off the competition.

In August 2023, since Tropang Lol ended in April 2023, there were people asking him if he would return to Showtime. He replied to this by saying that he had no problem appearing at any noontime show.

In the same year, Coleen brokered for Vice and Billy’s reconciliation. In their appearance in the Magpasikat, Vice shared a story of what happened when he crossed paths with them at one time.

At that time, Vice felt that it was the perfect time to reconnect and rekindle their friendship. The reconciliation made him feel good.

Vice added, “As in pagsakay ko pa lang ng kotse nagte-text na kami, nagtatawagan na, nagsesendan na kami ng kung anu-anong picture.”
