Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda has this funny reaction when Ion Perez shared that he almost got rejected by him.

Celebrities Vice Ganda and Ion Perez are real-life partners. What they have been through after admitting their relationship to the public was no joke. They went under public scrutiny and previously, because of their “cake” scene in It’s Showtime, they got suspended for 12 airing days.

Vice and Ion’s “cake” joke accordingly violated Section 3 (c) Presidential Decree No. 1986. The suspension was also due to other violations committed by the other hosts.

As for their love story, it all started with teasing and naughty banters in the noontime show. But behind the camera, everything also started to becoming real. Their first meeting was in Gandang Gabi Vice in 2017 which was followed in Showtime where Ion became ”Kuya Escort”.

In October 2019, they finally announced their relationship. However, little is known about how they became a couple. In the recent episode of Showtime, Vice asked the other hosts one by one about their experience when it comes to courting and rejection.

He asked, “Ikaw Ion, may nambasted ba sa’yo?”

Abruptly, Ion answered with a laugh, “Di ba ikaw muntik?”

The hosts and the audience loudly reacted to what Ion shared while Vice was jokingly making this funny faces and humorous statements. He expressed based on the video, “Anong binasted? Di naman kita binasted. Jinowa nga kita agad eh… Di basted.”

When asked why, the comedian noted that it was just a joke and that he was actually “jowang-jowa” before”.

Meanwhile, in 2020, Ion proposed to the Kapamilya comedian and on their third anniversary as a couple in October 2021, they sealed their commitment for each other. As much as they want to have a huge event for this milestone in their relationship, they were not able to achieve because of the pandemic.
