VHONG NAVARRO MAGPASIKAT 2024 – For the third day of the anniversary event, here’s the performance of the host along with Ion Perez, Darren Espanto, and Amy Perez.

Team V.I.D.A. is composed of Vhong Navarro, Ion Perez, Darren Espanto, and Amy Perez. Their performance on the third day did not just showcase talent but also pulled a string of emotion in many of us as it tackled how short our lives really are.

It showed people what we often take for granted and the only thing we could never take back – time with our loved ones. The performance was also a wake-up call to us to not play favorites, especially in our family.

Tyang Amy delivered an interpretative dance. It was a heartfelt performance that told a mother’s struggles in life and how can one be pinned down but never giving up for a release.

Ion showcased his core strength by doing some death-defying acts in a grid. He blended strength and grace in his amazing routine with a story that no matter what he does, he is not his mother’s favorite.

As for Darren, he showed a spectacular performance, something he did for the first time. He performed with a dance number using a big metal ring. Probably, it represents how our lives are rolling in circles. Tyang Amy was also there as the supportive mother to his youngest.

As for Vhong, he was this dark and mysterious “Kamatayan” appointed to get Ion. He performed a dark and eerie dance performance.

The whole performance told the value of time, regrets, love for family, how short our lives are, and kindness. In hindsight, it was also about life seemingly playing favorites on us but in death, we are all equal.
