The “It’s Showtime” annual talent competition segment, Magpasikat, is returning sooner than you think!
Bookmark October 21, when the first of five teams will showcase their talent presentation.
The first team is comprised of Vice Ganda, Karylle and Ryan Bang, and will kick of the competition on Monday.
Ogie Alcasid, Kim Ciu, MC and Lassy will follow them on Tuesday.
Wednesday will see Vhong Navarro, Amy Perez, Daren Espanto, and Ion Perez perform.
Anne Curtis, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz will take the stage on Thursday.
Finally, on Friday, Team Jhong Hilario, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez will present the performance they prepared.
Magpasikat is the annual talent competition of “It’s Showtime.
Last year, the “It’s Showtime” hosts brought their A games and produced incredible numbers. Vhong, Teddy, and Jugs brought to life Dolphy, Babalu, and Red Forwhite through AI. Jasmine Curtis-Smith joined sestra Anne, Ogie and Ryan for a buwis-buhay aerial dance.
Karylle’s team assembled the original Sang’gres, Vice brought out Billy Crawford and confirmed their reconciliation.
But it was the team of Jhong, Kim, and Ion’s performance about technology that won.
“Chill lang ako,” Jhong said. “Back-to-back na ako eh. Pahinga naman ako.”
“Napakayabang mo! Humigpit sana ‘yang panyo sa leeg mo,” Vice replied.
“It’s Showtime” made an epic debut on GMA-7 last April and had several trending moments. The noontime show is also being aired on GMA Network’s GTV.
