Netizens recalled the TNT stint of Sofronio Vasquez

The Voice USA Season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez reposted a  video of OPM Icon Rey Valera’s message to him when he joined Tawag ng Tanghalan.

Rey has served as the Punong Hurado in the singing competition in the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime. Before joining The Voice USA, Sofronio tried his luck in the popular Pinoy singing contest several times.

With his determination and talent, he only reached the third runner-up status back in 2019. After his victory in the American singing contest, many netizens recalled the supposed “manifestation” that Rey Valera had about the future of Spfronio Vasques as a singer, based on the article in PEP.

Many netizens have been reposting that throwback video of Rey as a Punong Hurado and apparently, this caught Sofronio’s attention and he reposted a fan-made video on his Instagram Story with the caption, “Thank you, Lord.”

In the video, Rey said that he could somehow relate to Sofronio because he would always see the latter alone.

“Wala, ikaw lang mag-isa, you’re all alone. Hindi ko maintindihan why, pero I think [may pagkakapareho] tayo konti. You are your best friend. Ikaw ang mentor mo, sarili mo. Ikaw na rin yung cheering squad mo at the same time,” the veteran singer-songwriter said.

Rey also commended Sofronio’s determination and talent and that the aspiring singer will eventually have the success he dreams of even if it is not in Tawag Ng Tanghalan.

“Kung hindi ka man ngitian ng Lady Luck ngayon, I’m sure dahil yon sa alam niya na ikaw ang gagawa ng sarili mong suwerte at hindi mo siya kailangan. Because yung ganyang klaseng tao, you will always find your way,” Rey Valera said to Sofronio Vasquez.

The Filipino Phenom achieved the success that he has been working for for many years and his supporters are very proud of him, including his coach Michael Buble, and Concert King Martin Nievera.
