At the media conference for It’s Showtime’s Tawag ng Tanghalan segment, Vice Ganda shared why he believes viewers are loving his banter with fellow host Kim Chiu.

At first, the comedian jokingly said that Kim’s hosting is ugly. “Ang pangit ng hosting style ni Kim Chiu but it’s okay it’s manageable,” Vice Ganda laughed.

He then stressed that it’s fun to banter with Kim, most especially that his ‘teasing’ and jokes are part of the dynamics of It’s Showtime.

“Ang sarap niyang paglaruan tapos ina allow niya yung sariling niyang paglaruan kase hindi lahat papayag huh eh yun yung magandang dynamic sa Showtime.”

He also added that one thing that sets It’s Showtime apart from other shows is that there are no exceptions, especially with the hosts when teasing starts on the show.

“Yung parang walang Anne Curtis Anne Curtis sa akin noh kahit ikaw ang dyosa sa showbiz isisiwalat ko ikaw ang may pinaka malaking bunganga sa showbiz. Eh si Kim Chiu ganun din walang PBB Big Winner dito.”

He also said Kim is a team player and was able to quickly bond with the rest of the cast.

“Tsaka team player, family member and at the same time she enjoys the and she enjoys us at mas nararamdaman namin yun kaya ang dali dali rin namin ma connect kay Kim Chiu.”

One example of their playful banter when recently, Vice Ganda and the other hosts of It’s Showtime couldn’t contain their amusement after seeing the dress Kim Chiu was wearing.

The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate wore a beautiful dress, but the color was similar to what the contestants wore.

A few minutes before the start of the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” wildcard episode, she became the subject of discussion. Kim was even asked to introduce the contestants, prompting Vice and his co-hosts to laugh.

According to the actress, she did not receive any message concerning the daily motif of the contenders. The hosts teased her that she was one of the aspiring singers who would try to become a finalist in the singing competition.

Moreover, Vice Ganda thanked Kim for being the new addition to It’s Showtime Family.

“Alam mo ang laking pasalamat ko na dumating si Kim sa Showtime kase hello 12 years sawang sawa narin naman ako sa mukha ni Vhong (Navarro) tsaka ni Jhong (Hilario).”

“Araw araw hindi ko na kayang mag adjust kay Vhong at Jhong, ang sarap ni Kim Chiu, ang sarap niyang addition, ang bonggang niyang edition sa Showtime.”
