Vice Ganda and Ion Perez enjoyed their Dubai vacation

A rumor surfaced that Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda is blacklisted in Dubai but this was straightly debunked.

Vice has done a lot of shows on TV, as well as, provincial shows. With his popularity, he also had concerts not just in the Philippines but also abroad. He is among the most loved personalities by OFWs in different parts of the globe.

However, a rumor surfaced that he is not welcome in Dubai. Based on the article by Abante entertainment writer Jun Lalin, fake news peddlers are very intense in spreading stories without basis.

Vice Ganda and his partner Ion Perez arrived in Dubai a few days ago with the comedian’s family and team. Lalin shared that rumor has it that the Unkabogable Star is blacklisted in the United Arab Emirates.

The entertainment writer shared what their source said about this fake news. “So hindi totoo ang tsismis na blacklisted si Vice Ganda dito sa UAE? Baka may chumika pa na AI! EME KA/KAYO. Alam mo all this time etong mga tao na nandito spreading fake news! Kilala ko na talaga kayo! Welcome Meme dito sa Dubai!” the source reacted.

Lalin also shared that when they talked to their source, it was revealed that a friend of Vice who is also a comedian is also a subject of the same fake news.

One of Vice’s companions in Dubai said, “Paanong blacklisted, eh, nag-e-enjoy nga si Meme dito?” It was said that the reality was that Vice’s movies were not being shown in Dubai because of the UAE’s strict rules.

There were many Pinoys who felt that it was “sayang” that Vice Ganda’s Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry And The Breadwinner Is is not available in Dubai.

Meanwhile, Vice admitted in a previous interview that he felt insecure doing the drama genre for his MMFF 2024 entry. It was because his co-stars were known to be superb in this genre.
