LJ Reyes says Paulo Avelino reached out to her

29 Oct – While Paolo Contis has yet to try and make amends with her, LJ Reyes recently revealed that her ex, Paulo Avelino, however, did.

As reported on Cosmo, the actress, who spoke to Boy Abunda again recently while the talk show host was in New York where she is currently staying, shared that Paulo, who is also the father of her 11-year-old son Aki, reached out to her following her split from Paolo.

“We’re not “friends” friends, like talking every day kind of friends, but he’s always been there for Aki. He’s been in touch. He was the one who sent me a message, something like, “I know you’re going through a very difficult time”,” she said.

She also stated that the actor is also very attentive towards his son, and that she can always talk to him when it comes to Aki’s needs.

When Boy Abunda asked if she would ever go to Baguio “as friends” sometime in the future, referencing Paolo’s previous admission that he went to the city with Yen Santos “as a friend” following their breakup, LJ laughed and said, “Yes, Tito Boy. Why not? I’m proud of Baguio as a Filipina… actually, Paulo Avelino is from Baguio, so Aki has a family there.”
