In his emotional caption, Vice attributed his sustained success to the deep bond he shares with the masses. “Maraming nagtatanong kung bakit maraming pumipila sa mga pelikula ko lalo na tuwing Pasko. Ito po ang sagot. Dahil po ako at ang masa ay may ugnayan. May relasyon. Nagkakaunawaan kami. Nagmamahalan. Iisa ang lenggwahe namin. Iisa ang pulso. Nagkakaintindihan. Kaya’t di namin iniiwan ang isa’t isa anuman ang mangyari,” he wrote.
Vice emphasized that this unique connection with his audience is an honor he has cherished throughout his career. “Yan ang karangalan na patuloy kong tinatanggap mula sa kanila noon pa man hanggang ngayon. Karangalang di lang pang isang gabi. Pangmatagalan,” he added.
