Ruru Madrid said something about Coco Martin

Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid expressed his willingness to work with Kapamilya actor Coco Martin.

Ruru has come a long way since he started his career in showbiz. From doing supporting roles and second male lead character, in recent years, he was given lead roles. His current project is airing on primetime. He is one of the homegrown male talents of GMA.

Ruru’s Kapuso primetime series Black Rider and Coco’s primetime series Batang Quiapo are airing in the same time slot. They are both in the same genre, action-drama but for the Kapuso actor, this will not hinder if they will be given a chance to work together.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Ruru said that he is willing to work with the Kapamilya actor.

““Of course. Kahit sino, handang makatrabaho si Sir Coco, especially pagdating sa action. Wala pong pagdadalawang isip sakali man,” Ruru Madrid said.

Although, for now, it is just something in the air or a possibility, Ruru said that he is looking forward to having this kind of chance to share the same screen with Coco. The Kapuso actor also said that he hopes that they will be given this opportunity.

“Looking forward ako diyan. Sana mapagbigyan kami at maging plano ito ng Panginoong Diyos,” Ruru said.

In an interview last April, Ruru said that he is not competing with Coco even though their shows are rivals. For the Kapuso actor, this is a competition with himself.

Back in 2023, the two actors had a chance to meet at an event. They hugged each other. Ruru said that he approached Coco when he saw him. Then, Ruru greeted Coco and a tight hug happened. The Kapuso actor told the Kapamilya actor that it was an honor for him that they met.
