Rosanna Roces shared this story about Coco Martin

Seasoned actress Rosanna Roces revealed that she almost cried during a massage session because of Kapamilya action star Coco Martin.

Rosanna has been in the entertainment industry for many years. However, there was a part of her showbiz career in which she was a bit out of the spotlight. Fortunately, she was able to bounce back.

Based on the article in Bandera, Rosanna shared that she had a wish years ago. The seasoned actress recalled that back in 2016-2017, there were teleseryes airing back to back in which Cherry Pie Picache was in the cast in both.

Rosanna Roces revealed that prompted her to pray as she was hoping that she would also have that kind of opportunity in showbiz.

“Pero kung ibibigay mo (ay) dalawa, e, di, mas maganda. Bigyan mo ulit ako ng huling baraha hinding-hindi ko na ito bibitawan, hinding-hindi na ito mapupunta sa kamay ng kahit na sino,” she said.

Now, Rosanna was given a chance to be part of two  TV series currently airing. She is now part of Batang Quiapo ang Pamilya Sagrado, both airing on ABS-CBN’s primetime slot.

The seasoned actress shared that she first became part of Pamilya Sagrado and when she finished shooting for this, she messaged Coco Martin but she did not receive a reply the whole day.

With this, Rosanna decided to treat herself to a massage. Then, Coco’s staff member called her. “Gusto ko nang umiyak sa tuwa! E, may nagmamasahe sa akin kaya hindi ko alam kung ano ang iaarte ko,” she shared.

The actress was so happy because of that call and she was told that she would start shooting the next day. Rosanna shared that Coco said to her back in December 2023 that he wanted her to be part of the series.

Coco told her that right after she finished filming for Pamilya Sagrado, he wanted her to start in Batang Quiapo. When Rosanna Roces received the call from someone working for the actor, she said that Coco Martin really stayed true what he said.
