Turning a new leaf in life is certainly a moment that stirs a wealth of ‘feels’, but Kim Chiu’s recent birthday bash on “It’s Showtime” last Saturday, April 27, was an even bigger melting pot of emotions.
And she sure would want to treasure that special day forever, and in this day and age, one way to immortalize such a momentous event is by capturing them in a video. We’re all for the endless replays, right?
Luckily, Kim shared the video on her Instagram page, affording us, fans, the chance to relive that special day with her.
In the mini-vlog, we see her arrival at the ABS-CBN studios – buzzing with excitement as she strides down the hallways. Then, it’s all about catching her in action as she preps and gives us sneak peeks of her dance rehearsal.
No wonder she was pumped! Her dance routine was so explosive and ‘buwas-buhay’. She rocked an aerial dance without a safety harness! In the caption, it was revealed that the aerial chair dance was an idea of her “It’s Showtime”” co-host and ‘bestie’ Darren Espanto.
Then things got giggly when her pals Bela Padilla and KaladKaren, along with her sister Lakam, surprised her by joining her on stage.
The mood shifted to sentimental and joyous as she received heartfelt messages from her “It’s Showtime”” family. Vice Ganda vowed to be her protector forever, Anne Curtis pledged to always treat her like a sister, Ogie Alcasid praised Kim’s superpower—her immense heart, and Vhong Navarro became emotional recalling how Kim stood by him during a difficult time in his life.
The studio lit up with “kilig” when Paulo Avelino’s message popped up on the LED screen. Even her dad, William Chiu, and ABS-CBN TV Production head, her mentor Laurenti Dyogi, sent their warm wishes.
The KimPau love team’s fans and supporters even made their way to the “It’s Showtime”” studio to show some love for Kim.
