Regine Velasquez said no to an offer from Coco Martin

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez admitted that Ang Probinsyano actor Coco Martin had an offer to her before but she turned it down.

Throughout Regine’s career in showbiz, there is no doubt that she is one of the in-demand celebrities. Aside from reigning in the music industry in the Philippines, she also did several successful TV shows and movies. It is also a fact that her concerts are always sold-out.

Now, Regine has also ventured into vlogging and through this, she is showing to her fans a more personal side of herself.

However, there was a time when a good offer was given to her but she decided not to accept it. Based on the article in Pang-Masa, Regine Velasquez turned down an offer from Coco Martin.

The lead actor of the long-running action-drama series in ABS-CBN personally offered the Asia’s Songbird to join the cast of Ang Probinsyano. It was said that Coco even went to Regine with a written proposal.

However, the singer-actress had no choice but to turn down that good offer because she was loaded with various projects at that time.

Back then, there were concerts lining up and appearances in various showbiz engagements. This is aside from the fact that Regine Velasquez is still a wife to OPM icon Ogie Alcasid and a mother to Nate.

Meanwhile, the Asia’s Songbird is set to have her Valentine concert this year amid the pandemic. It is titled Freedom and based on the article, as early as now, the VIP tickets for the concert of Regine are already sold out.
