Rumors linking Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino and It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu continue to linger in showbiz circles.

Paulo and Kim’s onscreen partnership, now known as KimPau, brought “kilig” to many fans. Their tandem started in the series Linlang and they continued spreading “kilig” vibes in the remake of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?

In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube showbiz talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, who admitted that he is a KimPau fan, he discussed what fans heard.

Ogie shared that there was a fan page that focused on KimPau that shared a post claiming that Paulo called Kim “babe.” The talent manager-vlogger, who is also known as a popular showbiz insider shared a screenshot showing, “KAHIT NAKA mask ka pa Pau clearly we heard it Yung PAGTAWAG mo ky Kimmie ng “babe”!”

Ogie’s co-host Mama Loi asked if someone would call you “babe”, does it apply to friends. He also said that “babe” seemed to be on the next level because it is not common for friends to call each other “babe.”

Mama Loi also said that if a man and a woman call each other “babe”, there is already something going on between them. Then, Ogie Diaz shared this aspiration for Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino. “Wish ko na lang sila ang magkatuluyan,” the talent manager-vlogger said.
