Ogie Alcasid featured Vice Ganda in a recent post

OPM icon Ogie Alcasid showed support for his fellow It’s Showtime host Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda amid recent issues.

Ogie has been part of the Kapamilya noontime show for many years now. From being a “hurado” in the segment Tawag ng Tanghalan, he became a regular host. Just recently, fans of the singer-songwriter criticized Vice on social media.

It was because of the alleged “inappropriate” jokes that Vice threw at Ogie which for them were “disrespectful” blows. Prior to this, Vice was a trending topic on social media because of an issue that surfaced during the segment EXpecially For You featuring searcher Christine and searchee Axel Cruz.

Amid the recent issues, Ogie Alcasid expressed support for the comedian-host. He and his wife Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez are known as among the closest friends of Vice Ganda in the entertainment industry.

Back in 2019, Vice mentioned that he was thankful to have Ogie in his life. The Unkabogable Star consider the OPM icon as a blessing in his life because he was able to have a new best friend and a new family.

Vice also said that he would share with Ogie even the personal issues he was going through and that the latter would always support him.

In a recent post, Ogie once again showed support for Vice. The singer-songwriter said that this is long overdue but he would like to point out that his friend has the sole intention of going to work and this is to make people happy.

“This person takes it all- for the team, for the show, and for the madlang pipol,” Ogie said. He added that he will continue to stand for this friend despite the imperfection.
