Paulo Avelino once again excited fans of #KimPau with his response in an interview about the chemistry with his co-star Kim Chiu. The actor, known for “Linlang” and “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,” straightforwardly answered whether chemistry can be faked by actors like himself.
“Sometimes it (chemistry) comes naturally, and sometimes, there’s work that’s been put into it,” he explained.
According to Paulo, not all actors can generate chemistry with each other, but they can also fake it as part of their job in portraying their roles.
When asked if he needed to fake his chemistry with Kim, he quickly responded, “With Kim, no. I did not.”
The Filipino adaptation of “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” is the second project for Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, following the smash hit “Linlang” on Amazon Prime, and now it’s airing on television. In the first week of “WWWSK?”, it quickly climbed to the top shows on Viu, and the streaming platform also saw a rise in subscribers.
