The hosts were celebrating Miles’ birthday, which was on May 1, and several, including Tito Sotto, shared their birthday greetings. While Tito remarked, “Wala akong masabi kundi Pataas! Pataas ‘yung edad eh,” Joey made a controversial comment about Miles’ weight, attempting to play off the song ‘Spaghetti’ he composed. He said, “Pataba! Ay pababa.”

This comment drew disapproval online, especially since Miles had previously undergone thyroid surgery for Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, which led to a thyroidectomy. This procedure significantly slowed her metabolism and contributed to her weight gain.

Discussing her challenges, Miles mentioned, “Galing pa akong trabaho po noon bago ko i-meeting yung doctor, so parang, ako at that time, frustrated na ako kasi yung weight ko ang iniisip ko na parang, ‘Anong nangyayari? Ginagawa ko naman yung part ko.’” Despite the difficulties, the weight gain was considered relatively minor compared to the potential complications of her previous health condition.

Meanwhile, Miles Ocampo, whose real name is Camille Tan Hojilla, is an actress, television host, commercial model, and writer.
