Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings were mentioned in Ogie Diaz’s post

Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared a post about endorsements and netizens connected this to the issue involving Kapamilya loveteam partners Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings.

The online community has been talking about the cheating allegation against Maris and Anthony. This was prompted by the explosive revelation of Anthony’s ex-girlfriend Jam Villanueva who uploaded photos of conversation between the loveteam partners.

Amid this issue, Maris received negative reactions on social media and opted to deactivate her Instagram page’s comment section. While she received negativity, her ex-boyfriend Rico Blanco received sympathy from the online community.

Netizens, on the other hand, had different reactions to Jam Villanueva’s revelation. While some netizens showed support for her, some also pointed out that she violated the Data Privacy Act.

Amid this issue, Ogie Diaz, who is also known as a famous showbiz insider shared a post on X, formerly Twitter, regarding the companies whose endorsers are involved in a controversy.

He said that the companies were “nalolokah” because these endorsers were supposed to have a wholesome image but the recent controversy showed unwholesomeness.

“Nalolokah daw ang mga brands na ine-endorse nila kasi nga naman, wholesome ang image nila tapos di wholesome ang isyu. Eh nakasaad sa contract yan na no public scandal dapat or else, balik bayad with penalty,” Ogie wrote in his tweet.

Although the talent manager-vlogger did not mention any name in his post, netizens connected this to the Maris Racal-Anthony Jennings issue. Here are some comments.

A netizen also shared that a post of the two  celebrities at a  Mang Inasal establishment was taken down.

Prior to this, Auntie Selina, a social media personality, shared that companies endorsed by Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings had deactivated the comment sections of their social media pages.
