Maiqui Pineda remembers one of the “best moments” in her life when she tied the knot with Robi Domingo in January 2024.

Maiqui Pineda took a trip down memory lane to look back on one of the best moments of her 2024–her wedding with Kapamilya host Robi Domingo.

Robi’s wife shared on Instagram their tender moment during the after party, when the DJ played their song.

She then captioned the video, “One of the best moments of the night was when the after party was winding down, just a few guests left, and the DJ played our song.”

“We danced and felt so happy and grateful for everything that happened. And now, here we are, celebrating our first anniversary.”

The Domingo couple exchanged “I Do’s” at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador in Pulilan, Bulacan on January 6, 2024, more than a year after they got engaged in Japan in November 2022.

The couple’s wedding anniversary this month is also a lot more meaningful because of Maiqui’s improved health condition. They announced last December that Maiqui received a “Christmas miracle” and she is now in clinical remission.

Maiqui was diagnosed with a rare form of disease called dermatomyositis, which according to hopkinsmedicine.org causes muscle inflammation and skin rash. It’s one of a group of muscle diseases that cause muscle inflammation and swelling. It’s different from other muscle diseases because it also causes skin problems.

Recalling the moment when her doctor confirmed the good news to her, Maiqui shared, “My doctor officially told me that I’m in clinical remission!

“Clinical remission means that the signs and symptoms of my autoimmune disease are now barely detectable, even if the disease may not be completely cured.

“In short – I’M OKAY!

“Hearing those words during our trip to Singapore in November brought tears to our eyes, especially when my doctor called me a ‘Christmas miracle.’”
