Lolit Solis featured Vice Ganda in her recent write-up

Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis defended Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda and other celebrities against bashers who attack them for buying expensive things.

Just recently,Β Vice and his partner Ion Perez revealed that they bought a fur babyΒ and this is not just an ordinary pet because of its price tag. This did not sit well with some netizens.

For buying a fur baby that expensive, Vice received criticism. For Lolit, there is nothing wrong with that. The writer agreed with what the comedian-host said that people should let them buy things they want and do whatever they want to do with their money.

β€œWala din tayong pakialam kung bumili ng mga Hermes bag ang mga artista ngayon dahil gusto nila. Kaya sila nagtra trabaho dahil gusto nila bumili ng mamahalin bagay, so be it,” Lolit Solis said.

She also said that people have different β€œtrip” in life and those celebrities are not asking for money from the people for the things they buy and so the public has no right to complain about this. The writer stressed that these celebrities have the right to indulge in the things that make them happy.

β€œSuwerte ka kung kagaya nila may pera kang pambili ng 380K na aso tulad nila Vice Ganda, or 25M na worth ng Hermes bag gaya ng nabalitang bagong gamit ni Marian Rivera,” the writer added. Lolit also pointed out that it is their money after all and so there must not have a problem about this.

For Lolit Solis, the issues about this should be stopped because this will somehow prove that the poor and rich are poles apart. Then she gave this reminder, β€œBasta mangarap na lang, baka someday, malay mo, makuha mo rin bumili ng mga ganuon bagay.”
