Ogie Diaz clarified these fake posts about Kris Aquino
A social media post referring to the condition of Queen of All Media Kris Aquino caught the attention of netizens and here’s what talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz said about this.
It is known to many that Kris has been battling her rare autoimmune diseases these past few years. Occasionally, she would share updates on her Instagram page about her condition. In some instances, people close to her would share some details of her health condition.
After Kris returned to the country last September, she teased that she would have a project to be released this year. However, 2024 is about to end and no update has been shared about the project.

Ogie Diaz, together with his Showbiz Update co-hosts Mama Loi and Dyosa Pockoh, talked about the death hoax referring to Kris Aquino.
The talent manager-vlogger shared a Facebook post showing a blurred photo of a woman with the caption “If it is true, why keep it a secret?” Then, the blurred image was captioned, “Are they keeping her death a secret?”

Ogie also showed another post saying “Hanggang kailan maitago ang pagpanaw ng isang high profile celebrity?” Since it was obvious to Ogie that it was his “kumare” Kris in the blurred image, he contacted Mary Ann Opeña who immediately asked Kris’s secretary Alvin.

It was said that Alvin laughed at this and said to Mary Ann, “Not true, Tita.” Ogie said that Kris is in the recovery stage. With the death hoax, Ogie shared that Mary Ann said that Kris’s life would be longer.
“Pero please lang, huwag kayong magpakalat ng ganito,” Ogie said. Mama Loi said that this kind of news couldn’t be kept a secret from major news entities. The talent manager-vlogger added that people should’ve just wished for Kris’s recovery so that, her dream of having a show again would be fulfilled.

Then, Mama Loi asked if that show would push through, Ogie said that it was possible when Kris was strong enough to do this.
The talent manager-vlogger also said that the death hoax has been used by YouTubers to earn money. They showed various videos on YouTube with this fake news about Kris Aquino as the featured story.
