“Entering 2024, I truly want a fresh start and a new beginning. I don’t want to dwell on the past,” Chiu emphasized. She made a commitment to herself to refrain from discussing the breakup further, despite repeated inquiries from the press about Lim’s comments.

Finally, Chiu decided to respond to the questions surrounding her ex’s recent interviews. “As I mentioned in my December post, I said this would be the last time I discuss it. Yet, the topic keeps coming up. It wouldn’t be a subject of discussion if no one was fueling the fire,” she remarked, highlighting her frustration.

The couple had a long relationship that lasted 12 years, which Chiu confirmed ended just days before Christmas last year. She clarified, “It was our mutual decision to transition our relationship into what we hope will be a lifelong friendship.”
