Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu talked about the closeness that she has now with her leading man actor Paulo Avelino.
Kim and Paulo did two consecutive teleseryes. They first worked together in the drama series Linlang and their tandem was continued in the romantic comedy series What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? which was based on the hit K-drama series of the same title.
Their tandem is now called KimPau and with their onscreen chemistry, it is inevitable for fans to anticipate that they are just more than onscreen partners.

Because of their two consecutive projects together, the two Kapamilya stars became close to each other.
Just recently, their jumping photo with the Mayon volcano as their background went viral. In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Kim Chiu said that this was taken when they had a show in the province.
“Nag-show kami sa Sorsogon at Agusan ni Paulo. Masaya naman kami. Napatalon kami sa dami ng nanonood pala ng ‘Linlang,’ ng ‘Secretary Kim’,” the Kapamilya actress said, adding that the plaza was filled with people during their show.
Kim also shared that Paulo is now more comfortable with her. “Okay naman, natatawa naman na siya sa akin. Nagkukuwento naman na siya. So, parang sa tagal na rin kaming magkatrabaho,” the actress shared.
It is known to many showbiz fans that Kim has a vibrant and fun personality while Paulo appears to have a quiet and mysterious personality.
During the same interview, Kim was asked if Paulo was the reason why it was easy for her to move on from her breakup late last year, the actress said to the media people, “Uy! Ang bilis niya po talaga.”
Then she was asked if things were better now with Paulo after what she went through. The actress said that the “things are better” was quite too much. Kim Chiu added that maybe it just so happened that good things are happening lately and unexpected blessings came along the way. “So, parang masaya naman,” she said.
However, the actress did not answer if Paulo Avelino, for her, is “jojowain” or “totropahin.”
