Is it true that it was supposed to be Kim Chiu in that episode?
Reportedly, Kapamilya actress-host Kim Chiu was supposed to be the one in that seat of Michelle Dee in the segment.
To recall, in the special April 6 episode of It’s Showtime during their debut on the GMA main channel, Michelle Dee appeared as the “Searcher” in the program’s “EXpecially For You” segment.
She was with her mother Melanie Marquez who was happy with her choice from the cluster of “Searchees”.
Dee chose Cebu-based lawyer Oliver Moeller as she found his answers to her pool of questions impressive. Even her mother was also impressed and adding to this good impression is the fact that he is a lawyer.
Michelle and Oliver have their first date and the lawyer has nothing but good words for the beauty queen. Accordingly, she is elegant, easy to talk with, and intelligent. He even expressed his desire to know her more.
“It was a very good first date,” remarked Michelle, on the other hand.
However, some people have another person in mind to be paired with the lawyer and that is Kim Chiu. They are actually being teased online and in a previous article, Oliver graced Showtime again and Vice Ganda asked him a teasing question.
With all the clamors about the chemistry of the two, there’s this report from PEP which stated something. Based on the report, it was supposed to be Chiu on the seat of Dee in that episode. However, the Showtime host backed out as she is reportedly not ready yet.
Perhaps, it is because of the part where she has to discuss the reason why her last relationship ended. To recall, her last boyfriend was Xian Lim and they have been together for over a decade.
