In August of this year when ABS-CBN announced that Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, affectionately known as KimPau by their fans, will be working on a new film set to have a big screen release.
They made waves in the drama series “Linlang” and the Philippine adaptation of “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” and the breakout love team will be taking their on-screen chemistry to the next level with their very first movie together.
This cinematic treat is directed by Chad Vidanes, the same director behind “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” and the hit teen drama series “He’s Into Her”.
In October, KimPau officially started filming their highly anticipated first movie project together which is scheduled for release next year. Wilma Doesnt, Nicco Manalo, and Karina Bautista are some of the stars in this film.
Recently, a teaser trailer of the film has been released and it immediately thrilled the fans.
It left viewers with some thoughts to reflect on love and the night when Kim and Paulo’s characters met in the rain on that one evening. She was saving her things from the rain while he appeared to be running away from someone.
Meanwhile, Kim is the newest calendar girl of a famous beverage brand. This marked another milestone in her career as she’s been in the industry for many years and this is the first time that she accepted this kind of opportunity.
While she did not imagine doing this in the early years of her career, she has embraced the opportunity fully and she enjoyed the entire journey.
