Kim Chiu talked about the slap she received from Maricel Soriano

Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu admitted that she was stunned by the slap of Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.

Kim added a new feather to her cap. She is one of the celebrities who received a slap from the award-winning actress. Several celebrities have shared their memorable moment experiencing the iconic slap of the Diamond Star.

In a recent interview, Kim shared that she is proud to experience the “sampal” of Maricel as they worked together in the new Kapamilya series Linlang.

Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the “sampalan” scene between Maricel Soriano and Kim Chiu is among the most awaited parts of the new series. The seasoned actress is known for her realistic slap that has become memorable to many of her co-stars.

“Sobra po akong natigalgal,” the Chinita Princess admitted about the slap she received from Maricel. Aside from the strong impact on her face from Maricel’s hand, Kim was also stunned by the fact that finally, she was able to experience the slap.

“Siyempe, pangarap ng isang artista na masampal (ni Maria). Bucket list namin ‘yun. Bucket list checked. Ang lala!” she said.

With this, Kim said that people should watch out for this and jokingly said that it was like a baseball. The Chinita Princess also shared that she is thankful to have this kind of opportunity but she was really nervous.

She was more nervous about her character Juliana. Kim also said that it was fun working with Maricel Soriano who has been in the industry for many years already. Despite the Diamond Star status, the younger actress said that Maricel is really down to earth and very accommodating.

Kim Chiu also shared that before the “sampalan” scene, Maricel Soriano even gave her medicine in case her face got swollen after the slap. Fortunately, that did not happen.
