On Thursday, February 2, 2023, Karylle landed as the top trending topic on Twitter. This came after some of her fans complained about the alleged “disrespect” and “unfair treatment” she received from her co-hosts on ABS-CBN noontime show, particularly Vice Ganda.

In a 38-second video posted on the microblogging site, Karylle can be seen “reporting” to Vice Ganda on the preparation Vhong Navarro went through for a song number but did not perform after it was given to others. Watch the video below:

Vice’s actions appear to have enraged many netizens, particularly Karylle’s fans. According to them, Karylle, does not deserve this kind of treatment because she is one of It’s Showtime’s original and resident hosts.

Meanwhile, former It’s Showtime co-host Kim Atienza left a meaningful message for Karylle after Vice Ganda allegedly disrespected her. “@anakarylle is one of the kindest souls I know in showbiz. She will never talk negatively against anyone. I love Karylle,” he wrote. However, it’s not clear if it has something to do on the trending issue between Karylle and Vice Ganda.

Prior to his meaningful message, he wrote: “I love you Karylle” at the same time tagging the singer/TV host/actress.

Vice Ganda has already gave his reaction regarding the issue. Karylle, on the other hand, has yet to react after she went trending online because of her scene with Vice Ganda.
