Here’s the love story of Keith Martin and Diana and what happened to their 8-year relationship.

In the recent episode of It’s Showtime in the “EXpecially For You” segment, the love story of Keith Martin and Diana was recalled.

The first man in Diana Dayao’s life was singer-song-writer Keith Martin. It was a blissful relationship that lasted for eight years and something that gave Diana a treasure she will forever cherish. They have a son and she considers their son as his greatest gift for her namely Dion James Martin, now 16.

On March 2022, Martin passed away and he was found dead in his condo in Quezon City and she was understandably more than shattered hearing this news. His death was determined to be caused by acute myocardial infarction. His dead body was found several days after he died and he was discovered when his neighbors complained about the foul smell coming from the room that belonged to him.

In an episode in “EXpecially For You, ” Diana recently appeared with her mother to find a new friend. In the same episode, Diana shared what happened to the 8-year relationship with the deceased singer.

According to Diana, there was a phase that they broke up but eventually got back together. They got engaged but the engagement did not last long.

“Parang sandali lang eh, kasi nakakatawa ‘yung istorya niya kasi when he proposed, hindi kasya ‘yung singsing. Hindi ko naisuot. Sabi niya, he will have it resize tapos hindi na niya naibalik hanggang sa nagkalimutan na parang ganun,” she shared adding that the ring was completely forgotten until the engagement was broke off.

He got busy with so many things in life until the relationship ended. Despite this, they broke up on good terms and were working closely and peacefully to raise their son. They have separated long ago before he died in 2022 and his remains were left with them, his only family here in the Philippines.

“Hindi na. Matagal na kaming hiwalay and yeah I was there, in fact his remains are with us sa bahay kasi wala naman talagang family si Keith, kami lang ‘yung family niya dito,” she said based on the video.
