In a video, KC Concepcion recalls doing this that made her emotional.

KC CONCEPCION – In a touching moment, KC Concepcion got emotional as she recalled reconnecting with Gabby Concepcion after 15 years.

On Father’s Day, many hearts were touched as Gabby Concepcion posted a new video with his daughter KC Concepcion. And in the video, the two reminisced about the first time they heard each other’s voices after 15 years of being apart and not being with each other.

And KC turned emotional with her dad as she narrated the story of the day she decided to finally reconnect with him.

Gabby was working in the United States at the time and that day, when he answered his ringing phone and heard the voice of the person on the other line, he immediately knew it was her baby.

“Pagsagot ko nung telepono, may nagsabing ‘Hi, can I speak to Gabby Concepcion, please?’ I said ‘Hi, is this my baby?’ I knew it was you on the phone. I knew it,” he said. He knew that this day would come he doesn’t know when but he knew it will happen and it did.

KC then recalled being “so nervous” as it was 15 years that they haven’t talked.

She decided to ring him while she was waiting for the bus to go to school. And that day, she even cut classes as she could not believe that they have finally talked to each other.

“Nag-cut class ako that day because nag-usap tayo for the first time—it was the first time we reconnected. It was such a memorable moment for me that I had to miss class,” she said.

She was crying at the bus stop when they put the phone down and she was crying while she recalled these moments. And after their connection, he really made up. He is involved and present in her adult years and made up for all the lost time.

“You’re very, very involved and very, very present in my life in my adult years so you really made up for all the time we didn’t get to spend together,” she expressed and added that it had just gotten better.
