The viral vaping video of Kathryn Bernardo, taken at a location in Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, has drawn opinions from two veteran showbiz reporters, Ogie Diaz and Cristy Fermin, who shared their perspectives on the trending video.

While the video garnered various reactions from netizens, with some expressing disappointment in the actress, both Ogie Diaz and Cristy Fermin provided different viewpoints on the matter. Ogie Diaz considered some netizens’ reactions to be exaggerated, suggesting that the vaping incident was simply part of Kathryn’s role in the movie “A Very Good Girl” and shouldn’t be blown out of proportion.

He also highlighted how the public may not be accustomed to seeing well-known stars like Kathryn engaging in behaviors that don’t align with their sweet image, drawing a parallel to Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo, whose occasional use of strong language surprises people.

On the other hand, in the radio program “Cristy Ferminute,” columnist Cristy Fermin clarified that the vaping scene captured in the video was a result of Kathryn’s portrayal of her character in the film. Having closely followed Kathryn’s career in showbiz, Cristy expressed confidence that the actress doesn’t smoke in real life.

As of now, Kathryn’s camp has not issued any response or statement regarding the video, leaving the matter without further clarification from the actress herself or her representatives.
