Karla Estrada is ready to do a different kind of talk show

Queen Mother Karla Estrada shared that she got pieces of advice from It’s Showtime host Amy Perez, who is the former host of Face 2 Face.

The talk show with an intense confrontation between two opposing parties is coming back. This time, it will be hosted by Karla and she will be joined by Alex Calleja. Previously, Amy admitted that she was offered to be the host once again.

However, the Kapamilya host said that she turned down the offer because she prioritized her current hosting stint in It’s Showtime. Amy also shared that Karla talked to her about this.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Karla Estrada shared that she was able to get advice from the former host of Face 2 Face. “Napakaraming ibinigay sa aking tips si Ate Amy dahil talagang magkaibigan naman kami,” the Queen Mother said.

Karla added that it is a fact that Amy is her son Daniel Padilla’s aunt. With this, she and Amy were already friends for a long time now. She also said that she really went to Amy’s house when she accepted this hosting stint. “Nakipag-usap ako at humingi ako ng advice dahil, of course, si T’yang Amy naman talaga ay inumpisahan niya ito, di ba?” Karla said.

The Queen Mother said that Amy Perez told her to start the show as Karla and not as Amy. “Pero ito ang magaganda diyan, ito yung dapat relaxed ka lang, kumalma ka.’ So, marami kaming pinag-usapan. But at the end of the day, tinapos namin nang masaya, at tinapos namin nang maganda ang aming usapan bilang magkamag-anak,” Karla Estrada said.

The mother of Daniel Padilla also said that she is thankful to Amy Perez, as well as to Gelli de Belen who also hosted the show.
