Kaladkaren was asked about the status of her career now

Showbiz personality Kaladkaren shared her thoughts on being compared to Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda.

Kaladkaren or Jervi Li is doing a great job in her career right now. She got her first acting award through her first starring movie. The impersonator of Karen Davila was hailed as the MMFF 2023 Best Supporting Actress for the movie Here Comes The Groom.

She recently signed a contract with Star Magic and this will surely open new doors for her in showbiz.

Based on the article in Pang-Masa, Kaladkaren shared that now that she gets busier, she started feeling the difficulty of handling her career and love life at the same time. She shared that at first, it was okay for her but recently, she is wondering what to do already.

On the other hand, she said, “Pero I’m happy and blessed na at least, ‘di ba marami tayong ginagawa at marami tayong nai-inspire dito sa mga ginagawa natin sa showbiz.”

Jervi also said that it is such a blessing that she is now under Star Magic. There are several projects lined up for her already. She is set to do a movie, a TV series, and a reality show. With her success now, it is inevitable for people to compare her to Vice Ganda. Kaladkaren said that there is no need for this because the Unkabogable Star is at the next level.

“Parang ‘pag sinabi mong Vice Ganda, Unkabogable Box Office, Phenomenal Superstar, parang incomparable si Vice Ganda, eh. Hindi mo siya pwedeng ikumpara kahit kanino,” the first-ever transwoman news anchor in the Philippines said.

Jervi added that her branding is different from the It’s Showtime host. She also pointed out that she is doing news which is not done by Vice. When it comes to hosting, Jervi pointed out that they also have different styles.

Kaladkaren also stressed that she has no plan to take away the throne from Vice Ganda. “Wala akong balak mang-agaw ng trono ng kahit na sino,” she said.
