It’s Showtime introduced its new dating game, Expecially For You, on Monday, December 14, featuring the ex-couple Ecca and CJ. When the two started to trend, the segment faced controversy when Ecca tried to call one of the hosts, Vice Ganda, but seemed to be snubbed. So, what was she supposed to say? Let’s find out.

Ecca Called Vice Ganda Before It’s Showtime’s Expecially For You Ended

Just right before It’s Showtime’s Expecially For You ended, with Alfred being chosen as Ecca’s new date, the latter tried to call Vice Ganda after seeing her ex, CJ, crying and confessing he still had a love for her. However, the comedian-TV host did not hear Ecca, letting the show continue while Angeline Quinto sang in the background.

This appeared to have left Ecca with no choice but to proceed with the segment’s theme, with her ending up with Alfred.

But in a now-viral video on TikTok, Ecca revealed what she had to say to Vice. In the clip, the female contender said there was no chance anymore after Vice and the other hosts ignored her, seemingly referring to her plan to rekinde her romance with CJ.

The next scene showed Ecca talking to two individuals who weren’t part of the picture and whose voices could only be heard in the background. “What were you supposed to say? Why did you call Vice?” the woman asked as translated into English.

A man, who seemed to be CJ, then chimed in, explaining that the instruction was to say “I still love you” in the end, and Ecca was supposed to choose between Alfred and CJ. However, Ecca explained that the deal was for them to back out, but a certain woman told them that she could still choose CJ in the end.

But everything got messed up when Ecca noticed that the segment was about to end, but CJ had yet to say a word. The man added that someone told him during the commercial that his next cue would be to say he would let Ecca go.

Alternatively, Ecca furthered that no one was still approaching her as the segment neared its end, so she called Vice to say that she would still choose CJ over a new man. However, no one paid her attention. Ecca believed if their plan had only been followed, things might have been much okay for them.

The Continuation of Ecca and CJ’s Love Story After It’s Showtime’s Expecially For You

Despite what happened in It’s Showtime’s Expecially For You, Ecca and CJ’s love story continues.

In a post on Facebook, user @Jirakit Rattanapong revealed that the two guested on Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, where CJ asked Ecca if he would still have a chance with her when he started to court her again. Of course, the answer was yes.

CJ even posted behind-the-scenes photos of them together, looking loved up as they shared a ride together.

For starters, during their interview on It’s Showtime’s Expecially For You, Ecca revealed that he ended up booking CJ on a ride app, making her surprised to see her ex again. This seems to prove that fate brings them together, giving their love a second chance. As they say, love is sweeter the second time around, and this seems to be what CJ and Ecca want to prove.
